This section of the web site addresses the complex issue of how to design content for reuse. The goal is to create content that can be used in as many ways and in as many contexts as possible without sacrificing the quality and effectiveness of the content. Another goal of reusable design is to create content that can be reused in content development and creation processes.
Reusable learning resource design can be thought of in terms of context, pedagogy, structure and presentation. Each of these layers affects reusability in a different way, and associated with each are design principles and techniques that can have a positive effect on reusability. |
